YOUR PERSONAL GUIDED TOUR OF PHIPPS CONSERVATORY AND BOTANICAL GARDENS
Welcome! I am very pleased that you could join me today for your very own tour of the Phipps Conservatory. We don't have that much time today, so we will only be visiting a few of the greenhouses within the Conservatory. As we begin our tour, please make sure to stay to the right at all times so that you will be able to experience each greenhouse in full.Let's begin our tour at the entrance. As we enter the Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens, you will find a caf? to your left and a gift shop to your right. Straight ahead are the booths where you can pay for your admission. Past that you will find lockers, water fountains and rest rooms, as well as lovely photographs displayed on the wall. Let's now take the stairs so that we can enter the greenhouses. As you climb the stairs, be sure to look up and admire the chandelier hanging down from the ceiling. It was designed by Dale Chihuly and just sparkles in the sunshine.The first greenhouse on our tour is the Palm Court.
