Sending emails in Topicr is similar to sending emails in existing web mails.
You compose email messages as usual and send to your friends. Most of the benefits will take place automatically. You can initiate a new topic by using "Compose Topic". If you want to have your corresponding emails to be aggregated under an existing topic, use the "New" and "Reply" buttons of the existing topic. If your friend doesn't want to receive emails from a topic, he/she can click on the Filter icon By using Topicr, you give an option to your friends to decide if emails of certain topics should reach their inboxes. What kinds of file formats does Topicr accept and what are the rules?
Topicr accepts all kinds of data types, as long as they are uploadable or submittable. It means most of the file and text formats you have seen. Topicr will automatically categorize your data according to the following simple rules:
During current private Beta stage, each Topicr account allows unlimited storage usage and the maximum file size to upload is 250M per file. File downloads for owners and recipients are available within 14 days. After 14 days, you can still always view your content online as usual.
Replace the topicid, youruserid and your password respectively. You can see your user id in your profile url. You can also find your user id here. A topicid for topic can be found in a topic url as the following:
Topicr offers 3 levels of privacy protection:
1) Public. Everyone in Topicr can see your message. 2) Private. It's the default privacy setting for your messages. In this mode, only your recipients can access the messages and contents. Your recipients can also pass-along or copy the messages and contents. 3) Private (exclusive). It's the same as Private except that your messages and contents can not be pass-alonged. Your recipients can always access the contents you sent to them no matter if the contents are public, private or private exclusive, unless you remove the contents. What kind of content can I keep in Topicr?
All kinds of content as long as they are legal and they don't voilate the Terms Of Use. Violation WILL result in account deletion.
What languages does Topicr support?
During closed Beta, Topicr provides multiple languages supports for general messaging and email communications. This means that in general you can write an email, a comment or an internal note using your language. However, for some advanced features, such as document online browsing, Topicr currently only supports English.
So, in short, during closed Beta, Topicr supports English fully and supports other languages partially. What email services can be used with Topicr?
As long as an email service/client supports HTML email, you can use it with Topicr. As most of the modern email systems/services/clients support HTML email, they can be used with Topicr.
